Qwikster Debacle…
Do you remember Qwikster? Me neither. And NetFlix CEO Reed Hastings probably hopes you forget it Qwiksterly too… NetFlix lost over a million customers when they increased their prices in July and with their recent Qwikster debacle. The good news is that they just released the Wonder Years. How many of you had a crush on Winnie Cooper when you were a kid?
Are you one of the people that left, or do you still use NetFlix? Let us know.
BlackBerry Email Outage…
Hey, did you get my email on your BlackBerry the other day? Probably not… and neither did millions of people across the world. Starting at the beginning of the week, people on nearly every continent couldn’t check their email on their BlackBerry. The problem occurred when a “fail safe” backup system failed. BlackBerry co-CEO Jim Ballsillie says they plan to compensate customers very soon… I wonder if he plans to send that update via email! Service should be back to normal soon.
