We’re looking for fellow Ramblers who have a Grow or Die mentality, who love talking business, want to work with a dynamic and established team with a proven product and the stories to back it up.
This position has a first year total compensation between $85,000 and $110,000+ dollars, and the opportunity to make $120K+ in subsequent years based on your upsells and account retention.
While this position is called "Landscape Marketing Guide" at Ramblin Jackson, you may be looking for or have had other positions with these titles:
- Account Manager

- Sales and Marketing Coach
- Marketing Coach
- Sales and Marketing Coach
You may Be a Good Fit If You:

- Have a creative side, enjoy brainstorming on a marketing campaign and coming up with ideas

- Love talking business, marketing and have a bit of a visionary streak

What’s Hard About This Role (and Who it is not a fit for):
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in seasonal rhythms, enjoys building strong, long-term client relationships, and has the maturity to navigate tough conversations.
Seasonal Dynamics:
You’ll experience the highs of busy seasons where clients celebrate their successes—and you play the hero.
In slower months like December, you’ll help manage client expectations and coach them to stay focused on long-term goals. You'll need to be the confident calming voice during this stressful time of year.
On the flip side, Q1 and Q4 is when landscaper's hire us! And can be busy for Guide's as they renew clients. We balance this out with a paid Winter Break and 4-Day workweek in the summer.
Relationship-Driven Work:
This isn’t about quick, one-off sales. You’ll nurture long-term relationships with clients, helping them grow their businesses year over year. Ideal for “farmer” salespeople who excel at serving existing clients and maintaining rapport.
Remote Work:
This position is Zoom intensive. With lots of meetings with Clients and other Ramblers. We do have our annual in-person retreat and have opportunities to meet up at trade shows, but this is primarily a work from home position.
If you’re self-motivated, socially connected outside of work, and thrive in a remote environment, this could be a great fit!
Adapting to Change:
Our industry is evolving rapidly, from post-COVID trends to innovations in AI and digital marketing.
If you’re excited by new challenges, love to figure it out, and can adapt quickly, you’ll thrive in this entrepreneurial environment.
Leadership Style: We follow EOS from the book Traction by Gino Wickman. Along with EOS our leadership style pulls it's framework from Five Dysfunctions of a Team and The Ideal Team Player by Patrick Lencioni.
We want people who are Humble, Hungry and Smart -- who are willing to Rumble, which means they embrace respectful conflict and conversation as a means to solving problems.
