If you really want to build a lasting brand and start breaking into those ideal neighborhoods where you're attracting more affluent customers, you've really got to do the Foundational Three, which are your branding, website, and SEO. When you focus on building the Foundation Of Digital Marketing, which is the premise behind my book, Get FOUND Online, you'll start building a lasting brand.
Now, doing all of that can take a lot of time. It can take a lot of effort and budget, and coordination. Right now, this time of the year, right before springtime, you may not be able to get all of that done, but here's the one thing that you could go and do yourself for free and that would be to claim your Google listing. Your Google listing is what shows up when people Google you.
It shows up in those map results and it's called Google My Business. So you can claim your Google listing, your Google My Business profile at google.com/business. Now, you're going to want to make sure you have your accurate name, hours, address, and a link to your website. Go and get that done now and then start passing a link to your listing to your customers. Like in Jesus' case, his customers are happy with him, they want to write a review for him, but he doesn't exist anywhere online. Doing this will give you a place where you can start getting reviews. So that way when people Google you, they see that listing with nice photos and good reviews and that's going to help compliment even word of mouth to close into a sale.
